Used tires: every tire is its own unit
Record the tread depth, production date, condition and photos of each specific tire, so the seller and the buyer see exactly what they get, not an average for the model.
Tire service & seasonal storage
Sell new and used tires with the exact condition of every single tire, keep clients' sets in seasonal storage on known shelves and bins, and bring clients back before the season changes. Stock, till, invoices and the client base share one database.
A tire shop has two kinds of stock that ordinary inventory software handles badly. New tires are simple: a model, a size, a quantity. Used tires are not: two tires of the same model can differ in tread depth, production date and condition, and the buyer wants to see exactly the one they are paying for. In OrgLines each used tire can be recorded as its own physical unit with its own attributes and photos, while still belonging to the same product in the catalogue.
The second kind of stock is not yours at all: clients' sets in seasonal storage. Here the question is always the same: where is this client's set, and what condition was it in when we took it. Warehouses in OrgLines are organised as a tree of zones, shelves and bins, so a storage place is a real address, not a note on a sticker. Moving a set to another bin is a transfer with a history.
Around the stock sit the tools a service business needs every day: a till for walk-in clients, invoices for fleet and company clients, a client base with history, and automations that prepare reminders when it is time to change tires. Requests from your website forms and Meta ads arrive in the Lead Center. There is no online booking calendar: requests are scheduled as tasks by your team.
New tires arrive through a purchase order. Used tires are received as individual units; serial numbers can be generated automatically.
Record tread depth, production date, condition and photos on the unit itself, and place it in a specific bin.
Put each client's set on a known zone, shelf and bin and note its condition when you take it.
Automations and the AI assistant prepare reminders and task lists when it is time to change tires.
Sell tires and services at the till, or issue an invoice to a company client from your own document template.
Run a stocktake to reconcile the system with the shelves and see suggested reorder quantities for new tires.
Record the tread depth, production date, condition and photos of each specific tire, so the seller and the buyer see exactly what they get, not an average for the model.
One row per physical unit in the selected warehouses, with its identity, placement and condition. A unit with movement history cannot be deleted, so the trail stays intact.
Your own attributes such as size, season, load index or brand, defined per product category.
Warehouse zones, shelves and bins show where each client's set is stored and what condition it was in.
Move stock to another bin or another warehouse; every transfer is recorded and can be cancelled while in transit.
Recount one warehouse or all of them and reconcile the result with the system.
Enter the cost of a product to see its margin; composite products show a cost breakdown.
Sell goods and services at the till or issue invoices to company clients, designed in the document designer.
Contacts and companies with history, so fleet clients and private drivers are both easy to find.
Automations and the AI assistant prepare reminders and task lists when it is time to change tires.

Publish selected tires from your catalogue on your website with the website builder.
Most inventory systems know quantities: eight tires of a model on a shelf. That is fine for new stock and useless for used stock, where the price depends on the specific tire. OrgLines keeps the product as the catalogue entry and adds a record for every physical unit. The unit has its own attributes, photos and documents, its own place in the warehouse and its own movement history.
Each warehouse is a tree of storage locations: zones, shelves and bins. When a client leaves a set for the season, it is placed at a specific address, and its condition is recorded at intake. When the client comes back, the team sees where the set is without walking the aisles. If the set has to move, the transfer is recorded, so the location in the system matches the shelf.
Staff in the workshop do not need to sit at a computer for this. The Telegram work bot lets frontline staff see their tasks, change statuses and send photos, and a manager approves who can use it.

Change to winter tires when temperatures stay at around 7 °C or lower, and before the first frost or snow, not after it. In much of Central and Eastern Europe that usually means from mid-October to early November. Local law can add its own rules: Germany requires winter tires in wintry road conditions, and Austria requires them from 1 November to 15 April whenever conditions are wintry.
Start four to six weeks before the first expected frost. Estimate how many cars your bays can really handle per day, contact seasonal storage clients before walk-ins arrive, stock up on popular winter sizes and consumables, make sure every stored set can be found by its location, and collect all requests in one queue that your team schedules. The rush is predictable, so most of the work can be done before it starts.
A tire hotel is a paid service in which a tire shop or service station stores a customer's off-season tires or complete wheels until the next change. The shop inspects the set at intake, records its condition, keeps it at a known storage place and returns it, usually fitted to the car, when the season changes.
