- Access token
- A secret key that lets one service act in another on your behalf, for example OrgLines reading leads from Meta. Tokens can expire and be revoked.
- Acquiring
- Accepting card payments through a bank terminal or online payment service.
- Add-on
- An extra capability you can add to any plan, such as the Business Central integration.
- AI agent
- An AI program that does not just answer questions but performs tasks in other systems on your behalf.
- AI credits
- Units that measure how much work the AI assistant does. Every plan includes a monthly allowance.
- API
- Application programming interface — a way for other programs to exchange data with OrgLines automatically.
- B2B
- Business to business — selling to companies rather than to private consumers.
- Batch (lot)
- A group of the same goods received or produced together, tracked with its own date, price or expiry.
- Break-even point
- The revenue at which income covers all costs — fixed and variable — so the business neither earns nor loses money.
- Business Central
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central — Microsoft's accounting and ERP system for small and mid-sized companies.
- Carrier
- The company or driver that physically transports the cargo.
- Cash flow
- How money actually comes in and goes out over time — as opposed to profit on paper.
- Consignment note (TTN)
- The transport consignment note that travels with a cargo. In Ukraine it is called TTN; its number and scan confirm what was loaded and delivered.
- Consolidation
- Combining the figures of several companies of one group into a single overview.
- Cost per lead
- How much advertising money you spend to get one lead: ad spend divided by the number of leads.
- CRM
- Customer relationship management — a system that stores clients, contacts, deals and the history of every conversation in one place.
- DATEV
- The accounting software and data format most tax advisers in Germany work with.
- Demurrage
- A charge for keeping a truck waiting beyond the agreed time at loading or unloading.
- Digest
- A short regular summary of what is important — new leads, deadlines, payments — sent at a set time.
- DNS records
- Settings at your domain registrar that tell the internet which server a domain points to.
- DOT code
- A code on the tire sidewall; its last four digits show the week and year of production.
- E-invoicing
- Invoices in a structured machine-readable format that accounting systems can process automatically; mandatory for many businesses in the EU.
- ERP
- Enterprise resource planning — software for the operational side of a business: products, stock, orders, invoices and money.
- Follow-up
- A reminder message or call to a client after the first contact, so the conversation does not go cold.
- FOP (sole proprietor)
- A sole proprietor in Ukraine — an individual registered to do business under simplified tax rules.
- Franchise network
- Stores run by independent owners under one brand and rules.
- Freight forwarder
- A company that organises transport for clients, usually by hiring carriers rather than using only its own trucks.
- IMAP / SMTP
- Standard protocols for receiving (IMAP) and sending (SMTP) email. Almost every mailbox supports them, so OrgLines can connect to yours without moving it.
- Inbound marketing
- Attracting clients with useful content and search visibility instead of cold outreach.
- Kanban
- A board with columns such as "to do", "in progress" and "done", where tasks are cards you move from column to column.
- Knowledge base
- A collection of your documents and instructions that the AI assistant searches to answer with your own data.
- Lead
- A potential client who has shown interest — for example, left a request in an ad form or on your website — but has not bought yet.
- Lead Center
- The OrgLines inbox for new requests from ads, forms and manual entry, before they become clients.
- Lead form
- A short form inside a Facebook or Instagram ad: people leave their contact details without leaving the social network.
- Ledger
- A chronological record of every money movement. In OrgLines entries are never overwritten; corrections are added as new entries.
- Legal entity
- A company registered as a separate business with its own tax number, bank accounts and books.
- Load index
- A number on the tire sidewall that shows the maximum weight the tire can carry.
- Margin
- What is left of the revenue after direct costs — for a freight order, the price for the client minus the carrier cost.
- MCP
- Model Context Protocol — an open standard that lets AI assistants such as Claude safely use other programs, for example read and update your CRM.
- Media buyer
- A specialist who buys and manages paid advertising, for example on Facebook and Instagram.
- Milestone
- A key event in an order or goal — for example "contract signed" or "cargo loaded".
- On-premise
- A version of software you install and run on your own servers instead of using it in the cloud.
- Open source
- Software whose source code is public and can be used and modified freely under its licence.
- Performance marketing
- Advertising paid for and judged by measurable results — leads, sales, cost per lead.
- Pipeline
- The stages a deal or candidate goes through — for example new, qualified, won — shown as columns.
- POS
- Point of sale — the till or checkout where a shop sells to customers and prints receipts.
- PRRO (software cash register)
- A software cash register used in Ukraine to issue fiscal receipts that are reported to the tax service.
- Qualification
- Checking whether a lead is a real potential client worth working with.
- Reservation
- Stock set aside for a specific order, so it cannot be sold to someone else.
- Reverse charge
- An EU VAT rule for some cross-border B2B sales: the buyer, not the seller, accounts for the VAT, and the invoice says so.
- RFM segments
- Grouping customers by Recency (how recently they bought), Frequency (how often) and Monetary value (how much), to see who is loyal and who is drifting away.
- Serial number
- A unique number that identifies one specific item, so it can be tracked individually.
- SLA
- Service level agreement — the promised time or quality of a response, for example "every lead is called within 15 minutes".
- Snooze
- Temporarily hide an email and have it return to the inbox on the date you choose.
- SSL certificate
- What makes a website open over https with the padlock icon, so data between visitor and site is encrypted.
- Stocktake
- Counting what is physically in the warehouse and correcting the system to match.
- Tread depth
- How deep the grooves on a tire are, in millimetres. It shows how worn a tire is and how much it is worth on resale.
- UTM tags
- Labels added to a link (source, campaign, ad) so you can see which ad a visitor or lead came from.
- VAT
- Value-added tax — a tax added to the price of goods and services and paid to the state by the seller.
- Webhook
- An automatic notification one system sends to another when something happens — for example "a new lead arrived".
